The correct way to use cologne when spraying it on clothes or on the body

Cologne is a kind of perfume with a light and elegant smell, so it is generally used by men. So should cologne be sprayed on clothes or on the body? What is the correct way to use cologne?

Everyone likes it. If you want the fragrance to last longer, then I suggest you spray it on your body (preferably with a roll-on bottle, which is replaceable). If your clothes have odor, it is best to spray them on your clothes.

Spray where you can feel your pulse. These areas generate the most heat of any part of the body. The heat generated can keep the fragrance of the perfume all day long. If you only spray perfume on your clothes, the fragrance may not last long.

Spraying on the inside of your wrist is a good option.

Many men also like to spray behind their ears.

You can also consider spraying it on your chest. It's a great place to spray it so that your shirt can also be scented, and when you want to hug someone, you can bring this scent to him/her as well.

Don't forget to spray your neck, too. Spraying there is a good strategy for a date night if you know your date is roughly as tall as your neck. The cologne will blend with your own body odor to create a special scent that is just you.

Spray from a few inches away. Don't spray cologne from a spray bottle directly onto your skin; it will be too strong and may even drip onto your clothing. So just spray lightly from a few inches away.

Apply a small amount. If your cologne bottle doesn't have a nozzle, you can use the smear method. Block the mouth of the bottle with your finger, tilt the bottle, then straighten it and put it down. Gently apply the remaining cologne on your finger to the area you want to apply.

Wash your hands immediately after applying the cologne, otherwise the smell of the cologne will remain on everything you touch.

Don't rub it in, as this will change the smell of the cologne and cause the scent to dissipate quickly. So instead of rubbing it in, just spray it lightly or apply it on your body and let it dry naturally.

Don't mix your cologne with other scents. Don't mix your cologne with strong-smelling items like aftershave or deodorant. These smells can sometimes be incompatible, and if you mix them together, you'll probably smell like the perfume counter at a department store.

Don't spray too often. As the saying goes, if you go to a shop that sells abalone, you won't smell it for long. You may soon no longer be able to smell the cologne you spray on yourself. But other people will still be able to smell it. Generally, you should spray cologne no more than once a day, just before you go out. If you really feel that you must spray, remember to spray as little as possible.

Wear cologne when it's appropriate. Cologne isn't necessary for work, but it's acceptable. Cologne is usually worn for important events, such as weddings, funerals, parties, or a night on the town.

Be aware of the effect of body oils on cologne. For example, if you are going to a nightclub, you should not wear too much cologne: the combination of body odor and cologne may be worse than your original body odor.
