Why can't the nail lamp dry? How long does the nail lamp usually last?

I bought a nail art machine and planned to do my own nail art at home, but after using the light for a long time, I found that it didn't dry. What's the matter? Is it because the exposure time is too short? How long should I use the nail art lamp?

Why can't the nail lamp be used?

A: It is because there is too much adhesive on the nail polish. You only need to apply a thin and even layer of adhesive. (Correct amount: only 0.1ml for a pair of hands)

B: The light from the phototherapy lamp is not enough or the lamp tube in the phototherapy lamp is aging.

Correct way: Check the equipment and replace any problematic lamps or phototherapy machines.

C: The lighting time is too short, and the nail surface is not completely cured. Correct way: Make sure that each lighting time is no less than 60 seconds to 120 seconds.

D: The nail surface is not facing the light and is not fully illuminated. Correct way: When shining the light, keep your hand straight and place your thumb flat to operate the light.

What to do if the nail lamp doesn't dry the nails

If the nail base gel does not dry after baking, you can try soaking it in cold water for 2 minutes. Ordinary nail polish will dry after soaking, while other nail polish can be dried naturally by the wind. However, if the above methods still do not dry, it depends on whether too much base gel is applied, whether the base gel is expired or deteriorated, and the power, time and angle of the lamp. Normally, the nail base gel should dry in about 2 minutes, but if it does not dry, it must mean that there is a problem with the base gel or the lamp.

Why does the nail lamp dry your hands?

Nail lamp is an important tool for curing gel. Currently, the commonly used nail lamps are UV lamps and LED lamps. UV lamp is the abbreviation of ultraviolet lamp tube. The UV lamp commonly used in nail art is a hot cathode fluorescent lamp, which emits UVA (long-wave ultraviolet rays).
