How to remove oil stains on white clothes How to remove tea stains on white clothes

Everyone has white clothes. Although white clothes are versatile and look good, they are easy to get dirty. Oil stains on white clothes are difficult to clean, and yellow spots will appear on the clothes over time.

How to wash oil stains on white clothes

1. Soaking method: soak the clothes in warm water for a day and a night, add an appropriate amount of detergent or cut the soap into small strips and melt it with boiling water and put it in. If there are stubborn oil stains that are still difficult to wash, you can sprinkle some baking soda and continue to scrub them by hand.

2. Use caustic soda to remove grease stains. Caustic soda is an industrial raw material with superb decontamination ability. Be sure to pay attention to safety when using it. Remember to wear gloves. Melt the caustic soda in hot water, then soak the clothes in for half an hour. You can see that the water will turn yellow, while the clothes will turn white, and removing grease stains will be easy.

3. Dishwashing liquid. Dishwashing liquid is usually used to wash dishes, but it also has a strong effect on oil stains on clothes. If the oil stains are just on the clothes, you can use detergent to remove them easily.

4. Flour. Flour is also very effective in removing oil stains. Add flour and water to make a batter. Then apply the batter on the front and back of the clothes where there are oil stains. Then expose it to the sun. After the batter dries, rub off the flour with your hands. You will find that your clothes are as bright and white as new.

5. Light salt water. When washing clothes, you can add salt to the water, stir to allow the salt to dissolve completely, then soak the clothes in the water for 40 minutes, rub them normally, and the oil stains can be easily removed.

How to remove tea stains from white clothes

Apply detergent to the tea stains, let the clothes stand for 3-5 minutes and then wash. If it is not completely removed. Soak with bleach. First, pour half a basin of water in the washing basin, add 40m (about 1 bottle cap) of bleach, soak the clothes in it for 30 minutes and finally wash. The clothes have not been stained with tea stains for a long time, and they can be removed by washing them with 70-80% hot water immediately. Old tea stains can be soaked with concentrated salt water, or rubbed with a mixture of ammonia and glycerol (1:10). Ammonia is prohibited for silk and wool fabrics. You can rub them with a 10% glycerol solution, then wash them with detergent and rinse them with water. Old tea and coffee stains can be wiped with a mixture of glycerol and egg yolk, and rinse them with clean water after they are slightly dry. Or apply glycerol to the stains, sprinkle a few grains of borax on them, and soak them with boiling water. You can also wipe them with diluted ammonia, borax and warm water. If the clothes are stained with tea for a short time, you can usually use salt and sprinkle a layer of salt on the tea stains. After 10 minutes, take a basin of hot water and a piece of soap, soak the clothes in water for 5 minutes and then wash them. A quicker way is to squeeze toothpaste on a toothbrush, add washing powder, and add some water to wash away the tea stains.

Why are there yellow spots on my clothes?

1. Fluorescence agent weakens

A brightening dye fluorescent agent is added during the process of making white clothes to give the dyed fabric a brightening effect. However, if washed too much, the fluorescent agent on the white clothes will be lost and the clothes will look yellow and old.

2. Residue of oil secreted by the human body

The acid in your sweat can cause clothing to oxidize and turn yellow, so yellowing is more severe under the arms or inside the collar.

3. Improper storage

The storage of white clothes also requires attention. Humid and poorly ventilated places can easily breed bacteria and cause clothes to turn yellow. The longer the storage time, the more serious the yellowing of the clothes.

4. Detergent does not rinse cleanly

If the detergent is not cleaned out, large areas of clothes will turn yellow, especially after the clothes are exposed to the sun. If there is residual detergent, it is more likely to turn yellow and old, so white clothes must be rinsed, dried and cleaned!

The reason why white clothes turn yellow

1. The fluorescent agent of white clothes becomes weaker

2. Yellowing due to sweat stains and body oil secretions

3. Improper storage or long-term storage of clothes causes yellowing of clothes

4. Improper or incomplete cleaning, residual detergent or soap will also cause clothes to turn yellow
