The size and waist circumference of jk uniforms are slightly different from other clothes. Jk uniform skirts are usually divided into 42cm, 45cm, 48cm, 60cm, and 80cm. How should we choose the right size when buying jk uniforms?

Normally, the size of sailor suits and shirts is selected according to shoulder width. The measurement method of the clothes is shown in the picture.

For example, my shoulder width is 37, and my chest is 89. I am suitable for size S. For girls with full bodies, it is recommended to refer to the chest to choose the size, or customize it. Because the fabric used in sailor suits is not elastic, it is not good to stretch the chest... (In fact, I recommend that plump girls give up sailor suits and embrace shirts, which will make them look thinner) People with dark and yellow skin are not recommended to wear light-colored sailor suits such as aqua, cream, light purple, and light pink, which really make them look darker...

Shirts should also refer to shoulder width, but since casual style is more popular now, you can choose a larger size, which will also make you look more freestyle~

Sweaters are also sized based on shoulder width, but the difference is that many girls like loose fits, so many stores also make them looser, so you can choose a smaller size. (Don't size down for tight fits...)

Suits are still about shoulder width... However, since suits are thick and even have shoulder pads, some stores will measure the shoulder width of the finished garment (that is, the shoulder width of the outside), and some will measure the shoulder width of the inside (that is, the shoulder width of the wearer). We often see skirt sizes as WxxxLxxx or simply xx/xx, so what does it mean?

W refers to waist circumference. Usually, a single digit is the best waist circumference, and range refers to the adjustment range (that is, the minimum to maximum range that the adjustment buckle can slide), ranging from 60-99.

L refers to the skirt length. Since 42 and 45 are the most popular lengths, merchants will focus on these two sizes. You can actually choose between 39 cm (short) and 100+ cm (poor).

If you have special needs, just call the customer service to ask if it can be customized.

For example, my waist is 1.9 feet, which is 63 cm, so I am suitable for a W63 skirt and should buy a W62-64. However, since my hip circumference is 93 cm and the waist-to-hip difference is 30, I can only choose a larger size to avoid pleats.

Most skirts have 20-24 pleats, and the design is for a waist-to-hip difference of about 26 cm. If it does not exceed 26 cm, the skirt will not look blown up. If it exceeds 26 cm, the effect of the pleats will gradually increase. The fewer the pleats, the smaller the waist-to-hip difference of the design.

If your waist is exactly 67cm, then buy a bigger size instead of a smaller one, and be brave enough to choose 69cm. For daily wear, the uniform skirt should be stuck above or below your belly button, and it will fit you after you have eaten. It will not fall off when you hang it on your hips, and it will not be visible when you cover it with clothes.

The length of the skirt can be chosen according to your own preferences. The shorter the skirt, the longer the legs will appear (too short will expose your body). For example, for a short-legged Hobbit like me, choosing 42cm will make the legs appear longer, while for a tall girl of 170cm, choosing 45+cm will be safer. Taller girls can directly choose the top-grade skirt length of 55-60cm, and then go to a small-time shop and ask the tailor to split the bottom edge and fold it up a little. (If you don't like it, you can sell it to a poor girl like me, and then let it down and it will be the top-grade skirt length again.)

In JK uniforms, the most common fabric is TR fabric, and some sailor uniforms also use TC fabric.

T/R fabric is a polyester-viscose blend. Polyester-viscose blend is a highly complementary blend. The blended yarn or fabric with polyester (Polyester) accounting for more than 60% and rayon (Rayon) is usually used to make suits. T is Polyester and R is Rayon (viscose). When the polyester (T) is not less than 50%, this blended fabric can maintain the characteristics of polyester such as firmness, wrinkle resistance, dimensional stability, washability and strong wearability. Basically, the higher the rayon content, the softer the fabric, the more skin-friendly it is, the better the drape, and the more breathable it is. At the same time, it is also more likely to pill and the pleats are more likely to fall apart.

In order to look neater and less prone to wrinkles, the material of a sailor suit is thicker than a shirt and correspondingly harder, so it feels a bit rough when worn, which is normal. Some Japanese fabrics have twill patterns on them, and Japanese girls wear small vests inside~ (But the mountain factory uses a material as rough as a bath towel, which is too much. I still don't understand where they find such rough and wrinkle-prone fabrics.)

These are all finished fabrics.

For plaid skirts, the most common ones are domestic 300g TR fabrics. The advantages are softness, breathability, skin-friendly, and good drape. The disadvantages are that it is easy to pilling and the material is thin, which is more suitable for summer wear. The original style is usually harder, thicker, and the pleats are firmer. The specific situation depends on the manufacturer. Different manufacturers make different materials. It is usually suitable for spring and summer wear.

There is also a kind of Japanese wool-containing fabric, which contains wool and is very thick. It is a common fabric for school winter skirts. (Although it is called Japanese wool-containing fabric, most of the fabric is imported from Japan, but some of the fabric is made by Qingdao Fabric Factory, but the copyright belongs to the Japanese factory.) This kind of fabric will definitely prick the legs because it contains wool. The material is thick and hard, so you can throw it into the washing machine and wash it casually. Just shake it.

In fact, the pleated skirt hem is often pleated, which has a lot to do with the incorrect way people wash the pleated skirt and store it later. When washing a pleated skirt, never try to wash it in a washing machine, it is best to wash it by hand.

On the one hand, hand washing can remove stains on the pleated skirt more easily. On the other hand, hand washing is better for the pleated part of the pleated skirt, so as not to damage the pleated part of the pleated skirt by excessive force. When washing by hand, you can first soak the pleated skirt in laundry detergent for about ten minutes, then wash it gently by hand, and finally filter it with clean water.
