How to care for tongue studs

You don’t need to do anything after the piercing on the same day, talk less and eat cold liquid food. Starting from the next day, rinse your mouth with 500ml bottled water + half a spoonful of sea salt after brushing your teeth in the morning and evening. Rinse your mouth no matter if you feel nauseous or dizzy. Rinse your mouth after eating, smoking, and drinking anything except water. You can smoke after getting a tongue piercing, but smoking is not conducive to wound recovery. Just remember to rinse your mouth for 3-6 weeks. Don’t touch the tongue piercing with your hands to prevent bacteria. You can’t feel the sea salt water gargle. Don’t think that the salt water will hurt. In fact, you won’t feel it at all. If you want to be more careful, take anti-inflammatory drugs for two days. My piercer did not recommend that I take anti-inflammatory drugs. It was purely voluntary. Try not to eat spicy or irritating foods in the first week. It will be conducive to recovery.

Things to note during tongue stud recovery

Do not eat spicy food, drink alcohol, or smoke in the first week of the recovery period. It is best to drink liquid food in the first two days. You can buy two bottles of mouthwash, non-alcoholic or saline. It will take about a month to completely heal. It is best to tighten the nail every day to prevent it from falling off. If it falls off, replace it quickly. The tongue has a strong healing ability.

How long does it take to speak normally after getting a tongue piercing?

About three days after getting the tongue pierced, the tongue will be a little swollen. During this time, the tongue slowly starts to adapt to the presence of the tongue piercing. Some friends can speak on the fourth day after getting the tongue pierced, but they may not be used to it at first and may have a little tongue swell when speaking. This phenomenon will disappear after they have completely adapted to the presence of the tongue piercing.
