What is the difference between tanning and suntanning? Things to note about tanning

Tanning is to tan in a tanning machine, which can make us tan evenly and make our skin brighter. So what is the difference between tanning and sun tanning? Let’s take a look today!

What is the difference between tanning and suntanning?

There are two main ways to get a tan: natural (sun tanning) and artificial (sunless tanning). The natural way is sunbathing.

Artificial tanning can be divided into tanning beds and artificial tanning. Tanning beds use sunlight as the principle to imitate the sun's ultraviolet rays through artificial ultraviolet rays. The main reason for its production is that the sun's ultraviolet rays have been medically proven to cause skin cancer. Artificial ultraviolet rays are much healthier than direct solar ultraviolet rays after filtering out harmful rays. Artificial tanning is achieved through artificial tanning creams or bronze tanning products.

Tanning method

Tanning methods are divided into natural and artificial. The natural tanning method is sunbathing, and the artificial tanning methods include tanning beds, tanning salons, and tanning tools. Tanning beds use sunlight as the principle to imitate the sun's ultraviolet rays through artificial ultraviolet rays. Tanning salons usually provide guests with tanning beds, tanning lamps, tanning spray services, and a series of sun-assisted products. Tanning tools include bronze lotion, bronze concealer, bronze matte powder, tanning spray, etc. Before each tanning, it is best to take a short air bath first, and then wipe the body with cold water after tanning. Tanning is prohibited for those with serious heart disease, tuberculosis, fever, hemorrhagic diathesis and other diseases.

Precautions

①If you have serious heart disease, tuberculosis, fever, hemorrhagic diathesis and other diseases, tanning is prohibited;

② If you experience nausea, dizziness, fever, etc. during the irradiation, you should stop immediately and rest in a cool place; the dose should be appropriately reduced when irradiating again;

③ If you experience fatigue, insomnia, and loss of appetite after tanning, it may be due to the accumulation of sunlight. You should rest for a few days and continue tanning after the symptoms disappear.

④ Before each tanning, it is best to take a short air bath first, and then wipe your body with cold water after tanning.

⑤ When tanning, be sure to protect your skin from sunburn, or choose natural and safe cosmetics, not too greasy ones, otherwise it will put too much pressure on the skin.

Is tanning harmful to the body?

Tanning is a method of using sunlight for exercise or prevention of chronic diseases. It mainly allows sunlight to irradiate the human skin, causing a series of physical and chemical reactions to achieve the purpose of fitness and disease treatment. Excessive ultraviolet radiation has been medically proven to cause skin cancer. Artificial ultraviolet rays are much healthier than direct solar ultraviolet rays after filtering out harmful rays. If it is a regular beauty salon, it is generally less harmful to the body.
