Why nail polish doesn't dry? How to use nail polish

I bought nail polish and wanted to do my own manicure at home, but the nail polish didn't dry even after I baked it for a long time. What's the reason? Is it because I used it wrong? How should I use nail polish correctly?

Why nail polish doesn't dry?

The nail polish cannot be dried because the exposure time is not enough or the nail polish is applied too thickly. Nail polish is non-toxic, odorless and environmentally friendly. The raw material used is natural resin, which is safe and environmentally friendly and dries faster. If the nail polish cannot be dried after being applied to the nails, the first guess is that the exposure time is not enough. Extending the exposure time can solve the problem. Another situation is that the nail polish is applied too thickly, resulting in the inability to dry under normal exposure.

How to use nail polish

1. The dead skin on the edge of the nails must be removed;

2. Apply two coats of balancing liquid before applying the primer;

3. When applying the primer, the amount must be small, otherwise the primer will shrink;

4. Similarly, the amount of colored glue should be small and thin, and pure color and transparent ones should be applied several times;

5. Do not use too much sealing layer;

6. Do not use the wash-free sealant on the surface of removable glue, because it will easily crack;

7. It is best not to mix nail polishes of different brands together. In addition, some brands of nail polish require the use of lamps of the same brand;

8. Use enough gel cleaning solution to clean the seal layer;

9. When applying nail polish, do not press too hard. Just apply it gently with the same angle, pressure and arc.

10. Apply nail polish in an arc shape on the bottom of the nail.

How long does it take to bake nail polish?

The raw material of nail polish is natural resin, which can only solidify quickly under light. After applying nail polish, it needs to be baked under a phototherapy machine, and then the nail polish becomes solid. Nail polish has the function of fixing the color. When the nail polish solidifies, the manicure can last for a month without falling off. Under the illumination of the phototherapy machine, nail polish only takes two or three minutes to completely solidify, but in order to prolong the color fixing time, it is generally baked for about five or six minutes.

Lifespan of nail polish

Generally speaking, the shelf life of nail polish is about 2 years, and unopened nail polish can be stored for three years. Nail polish is also called QQ glue, Barbie glue, light therapy glue, etc. The main ingredients are natural resin and some color materials. It will solidify under ultraviolet light to form a thin film, instead of evaporating as circulated on the Internet.
