How to prevent dirty collars of white shirts? Tips to prevent dirty collars of white shirts

Many people like white clothes, but they are not resistant to dirt and can easily get dirty if you are not careful. If the collars of clothes get dirty easily, remember to soak them in soapy water for a while before rubbing them when washing.

How to prevent dirty collars

1. Find a disposable cup and squeeze a small amount of toothpaste into it.

2. Add some white vinegar (5 ml at a time, don’t waste too much) to sterilize and help remove grease stains.

3. Add a small amount of detergent (because the stains on the collar are mostly oily) and stir evenly.

4. Put it into a spray bottle, spray it on the oil stains on the collar, wipe it with a clean towel or scouring pad, and it will be as good as new.

Tips to keep white shirt collars clean

First, let's try the lemon cleaning method. We buy some lemons in the supermarket, cut them in half, and then squeeze the lemon juice on the yellow stains on the clothes. After squeezing, we need to find a discarded toothbrush, and then we use the toothbrush to scrub the place where the lemon was just squeezed. After scrubbing for about a few minutes, we use clean water to wash again. We can find that this method can remove a small part, but not completely remove it. Next, we will look at the second method. Here we need to use white vinegar and salt to add laundry detergent for cleaning. First, we need to prepare a basin of clean water, then put some white vinegar in it, add some salt, and finally add some laundry detergent, and finally dissolve all these things. After all these are done, we can soak the clothes with yellow stains in the prepared water for about ten minutes. After ten minutes, we can scrub them with our hands. Finally, wash them with clean water and you will find that the clothes have become very clean. The third method is to use the exfoliating facial cleanser commonly used in life, squeeze some of the facial cleanser on the yellow stains on the clothes, then add some shampoo, rub it, and finally rub it with water. In this way, the clothes will become clean soon. The reason for using exfoliating facial cleanser and shampoo here is that the yellow stains on the collar of clothes are mostly sebum secreted by our sebaceous glands, as well as some sweat and oil on the hair, so using some facial cleanser and shampoo can play a good role.

How to clean stains on white shirts

1. When the clothes are dry, apply the hand-washing special laundry detergent to the stains to completely cover the stains. After standing for 5 minutes (you can gently rub and wash), add laundry detergent and wash normally.

2. If the stains cannot be removed by the above methods,

(1) Pure white cotton, linen, and polyester clothing: Add 1 bottle cap (40 grams) of White Clothes Color Stain Remover (600g specification) to every half basin of water (about 2 liters), stir well, put the clothing in and soak for 30 minutes, and rinse. If necessary, the soaking time can be appropriately extended. If the stain is not removed after 2 hours, take the clothing out, add White Clothes Color Stain Remover (1 bottle cap for every half basin of water), stir well, put the clothing in and continue soaking. The cumulative soaking time should not exceed 6 hours.

(2) Colored or other white clothes: Place the clothes in a basin with the stained part against the bottom of the basin. Use the bottle cap of Colored Stain Cleaner (600g specification) to measure 1/4 bottle cap (10g) of Colored Stain Cleaner and 1/4 bottle cap (10g) of Collar Cleaner, pour them on the stained part, cover the stain with other unstained parts of the clothes to prevent it from drying out, leave it for 2 hours, and rinse it. If the stain is still not removed after 2 hours, extend the leaving time to overnight.

Note:

1. The White Clothes Color Stain Cleaner is suitable for white cotton, linen, polyester, polyester-cotton, and cotton-linen fabrics. Do not use it on colored clothes (including white stripes, white checks, and white prints), silk, wool, spandex, nylon, and other clothes that cannot be bleached with chlorine. Do not use the original solution directly.

2. Colored Clothes Stain Remover is not suitable for easily faded clothes or dry-cleaned clothes. When using it, avoid contact with metal buttons, zippers, metal decorations on the clothes and avoid direct sunlight.

White shirt cleaning precautions

1. It is best to wash the shirt by hand. If you want to machine wash it, be sure to put it in a laundry bag.

2. The dehydration time of ordinary cotton and polyester shirts should not be too long, and high-end pure cotton shirts should not be dehydrated. After gently squeezing or not squeezing, hang it to dry;

3. After the cotton shirt is dried, it is best to iron it first, do not fold it, and then hang it directly in the closet.
